Vive les personnes Française! Tout c’est bon en France…

All is quiet here, in France. My flight over was uneventful. What happened in Paris has become almost personal since we Bostonians experienced this directly during the marathon bombings and of course, by extension, with 9/11. The French have moved from being scared and concerned, to angry. But like we Americans, the French have guts and are going to move on.

I have 60 students representing 10 nationalities and they’re very excited to learn, and try to make a difference in the world. The entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well in France and this crop of students is probably the best I’ve had in my 10+ years teaching here. The hospitality in France is exceptional, as always.  Very appreciative we could fit this in, without affecting any of my courses at BU or Thanksgiving with the family.

Group presentations are tomorrow, as the course concludes. By the way, prices seem a bit cheaper either due to deflation or the Euro’s changing strength.
