BU MBAs Day 1 in Beijing

Our flight was delayed five hours coming out of Boston because of the terrible blizzard. But we caught some luck and because the incoming aircraft was able to land after a quick turnaround we were able to get off the ground and made it successfully to China. Immigration was closed so we had to deplane on the tarmac and go to another immigration station and ended up arriving at the hotel at 2 AM. But we are all safe and sound.

This morning we worked through some administrative matters such as students who needed to get money and fix items in their rooms and then we all met for a group lunch. The students then began some informal sightseeing on our free day (on their own), while I met with our client to go over next week’s plan. Tomorrow is the Great Wall and the Forbidden City.
