Client Meet and Greet to review presentations
Hello from Beijing. We are trying something new this year…: a Client Meet and Greet to review presentations
a) The clients have already received all 100+ slides from each of our two BC teams. Although the formal presentations aren’t until Friday, they want to do a Meet and Greet with CCAFM and our students. Think of it as a briefing not only to build the relationship but also to ask key questions without losing face in front of others on Friday.
b) As we speak the students are dotting their i’s and crossing their t’s on the final versions; they almost need two mini presentation formats– an abstract / high level summary for this morning’s Meet and Greet and a condensed version of their full slide deck, so they can have time for Q&A on Friday.
c) The hospitality during lunch and dinner continues to impress. We repeated karaoke yesterday, but this time with a twist. The students put everyone’s name into a jar and randomly selected who would sing, followed by a 2nd jar with random song selections. Everyone was really “into” it; great team building. Last night was *spicy* hotpot about 15 minutes from the hotel.
d) CCAFM’s executives are making a concerted effort to do their own Meet and Greets. Although on-the-road to pitch new business or support existing clients, I’m regularly in touch about key details to stay one step ahead of the students. The architect of our program flew in from Shanghai last night, and although dead tired, we had tea until 11 pm reviewing our progress over the past 12 years and how the new format is working out. Impressive commitment to quality!
Will keep everyone apprised regarding next new ICP developments.
