BU arrives in Beijing; fun first afternoon and evening

The BU Questrom School of Business has arrived safely in Beijing. It took a while to get through the airport paperwork but we made it to the hotel and had some free time to go sightseeing. Most of us went to the Temple of Heaven. We came back and changed for dinner; my 15-year client in China then offered to take everyone out for a multi-course Peking Duck dinner. Very nice way to welcome everyone to Asia, and to China, for the first time.

The hotel room has pretty slow internet so it’s taking a while to upload pictures. But, we’re here in one piece and having a great time. I’ll get them posted when I can. Great Wall / Forbidden sightseeing tomorrow and then company visits begin bright-and-early on Monday!
