  • Describe in a few words your vision and goals for your career. What are you most passionate about?

Yingqing: Corporate strategy, consulting, business development. I am most passionate about innovation, achievement, and success.

Mayank: I am passionate to create a Large-Scale Business which contributes to the welfare of all the stakeholders involved and creates a good name for itself in this world. In daily life , I am passionate about cricket – a popular sport in India – and I love playing & watching it.

  • Provide a brief account of your background and prior work experience:

Yingqing: 10 years commercial experience in medical device industry, APAC region. As a marketing talent from China, I successfully managed the Newborn screening and infectious disease business (the flagship product line of Perkinelmer) outside China (15 APAC countries) and won awards (‘APAC outstanding product support”) for consecutively 2 years.

Mayank: Growing up in a business family, I gained much by listening to business discussions. Hence, after graduation, I joined as a Director in my family business, Jaiswal Steel Processing, a registered vendor for manufacturing and supplying GRSP (Grooved Rubber Sole Plates), used below the railway tracks, to the Indian Railways.

  • Provide a brief description of your future professional aspirations. What is your current career plan?

Yingqing: I enjoy the challenge of building and fixing things and want to help companies improve their business performance in terms of financial management, sales, marketing and production. I want to become a senior industry and company analysis expert/consultant in well-known consulting firm or a senior business development director in corporate strategy department of a biotech / pharmaceutical / medical device company.

Mayank: Under my aegis, my firm has gradually grown healthily as a production house for manufacturing Groove Rubber Sole Plates for Indian Railroads. The firm stands at an inflection point as government initiatives like Make in India beckon golden times for the industry. To leverage the opportunity, I want to use my learnings at business school in the short-term and apply it to my business back in India.
