GME Day #1 in Bangkok

The Thai’s are regarded as some of the nicest / warmest people in Asia and today definitely didn’t disappoint!

We began the morning with a visit to the Thai office for one of the publicly traded US global banks. By sheer luck, the Asia Pacific cluster head, and Thai country head, were both on hand. They not only changed their schedule to speak with our team but also even extended the Q&A time. Then, each Thai division head separately addressed our team, followed by Q&A and a tour.

We took the sky train a few stops and visited with a BU alumna who has purchased the franchise rights for 6 different US & Korean food brands. She treated us to lunch and then did an extended company overview and shopping mall tour of her various stores. She sent us home with literally– no exaggeration– 10 boxes of food.

Tonight is the BU Bangkok Alumni Event; a catered affair with an alumni panel, too.

Check out the pictures *and* videos below– we’ve now finished interviewing all of the students.
