Congrats to Questrom Case Competition Teams

Congrats to our case competition teams on their recent successes.

a) Draft Kings: Evan Lin, Doug Sibor, and Cam Stewart came in 2nd at the MIT Sloan Analytics Conference Daily Fantasy Challenge.

b) VCIC (MBA): Albert Choi, Kalea Gore, Stacey Graf, Ravindra Harnarine, Eric Kronlund and Nari Malkhasyan (alternate) narrowly missed a chance to advance to the VCIC Global Finals. A huge thanks to Minde Kornfeld and Don Nelson, and all of the team’s mentors and entrepreneurs for their preparatory help.

c) UAB: Claire Doherty, Tricia Hartley, and Susannah Rudel made the top 12 teams (out of 39) in the semi finals, also narrowly missing the finals at the UAB Health Administration case competition. A huge shout out to BU faculty colleagues Christopher Louis and Ned Rimer for their preparatory help.

d) VCIC (undergrad): Jordan Green, Xavier Martinez, Smeet Patel, Cristiane Sanchez, and Triston Waiss did well in NY, but will not be advancing to the VCIC Finals. A huge thanks to several mentors and entrepreneurs for their preparatory help.

We’re very proud of our students and equally appreciative of UNC, UAB, MIT, VCIC for allowing us to compete. Several more competitions are still scheduled for the remainder of the academic year!
