LOB Filming: Social Justice via the Spectrum Empowerment Project

What happens to students with autism looking to get jobs, after they graduate from high school or college? Thanks to the Spectrum Empowerment Project in Fall River, MA, they can get involved with for-profit businesses as actual employees. The group also stages theater productions in different venues. Much appreciation to Pam Ferro and Don Lambert for hosting us on Massachusetts’ south coast and to Carol Bass for the introduction. This is segment #2 in our social justice episode. Check out the pics below and the video with the students at work!

The Spectrum Empowerment Project is an independent corporation with the primary focus of empowering individuals with autism by providing opportunities for economic independence, social growth, and creative expression.
