Many thanks to Ed Schreiber who hosted us at Lesley University earlier this evening after he concluded teaching a weekend course on psychodrama. His students either star in, or write, psychodramas in an effort to better connect with their patients. This is the third of four segments in our social justice episode. What is a psychodrama? According to CRC Health: Psychodrama is an active and creative therapeutic approach that uses guided drama and role playing to work through problems. Developed by Dr. Jacob Moreno, psychodrama can be effective individually or in a group (sociodrama), and is sometimes offered in mental health programs, schools and businesses. Here is the source
