PEMBA Case Competition Info Session Webinar: 12 noon TOMORROW

There is an Info Session webinar tomorrow at 12 noon Thursday: CLICK HERE, please, to participate.

We are excited to announce the 2020 PEMBA Case Competition is scheduled for Friday, February14th and Saturday, February 15th. Teams of 4 will compete to present to the CEO and some members of the management team at the end of this 2 day event. Friday’s schedule will be from 8 am to 5 pm and Saturday will be from 8 am to 5 pm for finalists (and to approximately 1:00 pm for non-advancing teams). The PEMBA Case Competition winning team will receive $2,000 and the second place team will receive $500.

This will be a multi-disciplinary strategy case competition to develop and recommend growth opportunities for a South American based high tech company. It will require deep but quick analysis, developing short and long term strategic recommendations, and a final presentation to the senior management team. During the course of the 2 days you will have 1:1 coaching with mentors (as desired) and present to judges along the way to further hone your analytical and presentation skills.

Here is the schedule:

Sign-ups: Initial team (of 4) entries will be taken between now and December 23rd. To enter, send the names of your team members, email addresses, and your team name to frenchjd@bu.edu.  If space allows, we will have a secondary sign up period through January 15th.  In addition to 4-person teams, individuals looking for a team and partial teams can apply at this point and I will randomly put students on teams.

Post January 15th– we will open the competition to FTMBAs if space allows. However, we do expect PEMBA’s to fill the slots.
