Language of Business Episode #2: Innovate@BU and its BUild Lab

In Episode #2 (in Season #3) of the Language of Business (TM/R), we look at InnovateBU and its IDG Capital Student Innovation Center, the BUild Lab. Ms. Li M. Liang, Innovation Center Managing Director, says the space welcomes “students to come in and become themselves.” Questrom School of Business undergraduate student entrepreneur Mr. Noah Sorin is currently working on his own new venture, and will officially launch it when he’s put “the right team together.” Innovate@BU’s Director of Curriculum, Prof. Ian Mashiter, positions the initiative as “open to all,” and not connected with a single college making up the larger Boston University. College of Communications student Ms. Glo Robinson, when deciding to continue or shut-down her own venture, believes it’s “a question of sustainability, burn rate and responsibility.” Run time is 25 minutes and thanks to Randy Barth for video, Don Kelley for his audio production work, the Questrom School of Business, Boston University for its support. Of course, an equally huge thanks to our four guests! Susan James Leyva, Paul Alexander.
