Mike Carruthers is the creator and host of Something You Should Know, an award winning, daily radio program aired multiple times per day on over 150 stations across the U.S. Check out his web site as the content is terrific.

Mike has been incredibly helpful to me over the past few months trying to advance our initiative for the MBA Business Planning and Entrepreneurship course in terms of raising our Program’s profile and attracting the best 20 ideas. In an effort to return the favor, I asked him how we could be of help, and he indicated he’s piloting a new project on entrepreneurship, using long-form interviews of entrepreneurs, regarding how they have developed winning businesses over the years. As a trial segment to gauge listener / viewer interest, he recently interviewed me about the need for a 50-page Business Plan vs. a PowerPoint summary. Please check-out the 30-minute interview here and please contact Mike at mike@somethingyoushouldknow.net with your opinions or post them here, or on our Language of Business Facebook site.

Finally, Mike also serves as an executive and media coach (www.MasterMediaCoaching.com) to train authors, experts and entrepreneurs on how to use media exposure to promote their efforts. If you would like to bounce off some ideas re: career planning, he offers these (paid) services, as well.
