New Entrepreneurship and International Business Case Studies completed

0

Congratulations to graduate business students Corinne Boyles, Daxian “Jack” Gu and Andrew Sides for their work on the Veconinter and Beijing International Group case studies.  These will be used in my International Entrepreneurship and Building & Managing Entrepreneurial Ventures MBA courses next spring and summer.  Both cases are in their final review stages by the entrepreneurs and should be completed shortly.

Our next project will be to study the revenue drivers, investment criteria and effects of social media on televised cooking shows and will be used in my Building & Managing Entrepreneurial Ventures course.

In terms of the company backgrounds:

Veconinter is a Venezuelan-based firm serving shipping lines as a billing and collection agent for containers and the case examines its international expansion choices throughout the world.

Beijing International Group is an event management company in China headed by Boston native Tom McCarthy and focuses on succession planning, and how to monetize its existing assets.
