Final Info Sessions this week: Spring Break 2016 in Asia!

Do you know how business is really conducted in Asia?
Have you ever dreamed of climbing the Great Wall of China?
How about viewing Hong Kong’s skyline from Victoria’s Peak?

Students interested in learning more about the course are invited to attend either Information Session to be held on:

  • December 9, 9:00 am – 10:00 am (Room 302) 
  • December 10, 11:00 am – 12:00 Noon (room 302)

 

We are in the process of planning the Global Management Experience, a 4-credit course that involves analytical work during the first half of the spring semester on campus, and culminates with a trip to Beijing and Hong Kong during Spring Break 2016. Pre-travel course work includes exploration of economic, governmental and social factors that affect the conduct of business, and ethics, in a variety of industries and contexts. The trip involves visiting business executives, government leaders and entrepreneurs, observing first-hand the application of management principles and strategies in the global arena.

At this meeting, you will have the opportunity to learn details about the course requirements and the field study portion.

Global Management Experience Course

1) Pending University approval, we estimate that the costs will be $3,100 / person and will cover airfare, all airport-hotel transfers, quality accommodations (based upon double occupancy), motor coach, company visits, full group sightseeing, Visa and entry fees. Students will be responsible for selected meals (i.e., lunch and dinner) and personal spending money.

2) Acceptance to the course will be based on the submission of the Application Form, 1-page resume, cover letter, and cumulative GPA via email. Enrollment will be limited to 24 students, with preference given to Questrom juniors or seniors.
