Venture accelerator acceptance from BU affiliate

Congratulations to Oleg Vyadro of imageSurge, who was accepted into the Moderne Ventures real estate focused technology investment fund. Oleg was one of the entrepreneurs in the fall Venture Capital Investment Competition local contest. A copy of Moderne’s press release is here and info follows below on imageSurge’s technology and Oleg’s background.

ImageSurge Technology

Every marketing platform has gone digital, except one — the Brick-and-Mortar Storefront has not changed in nearly a century — paper and static content still limit its possibilities.

The dynamics of the digital revolution are inevitable, brick-and-mortar and online commerce are converging. The Retail Storefront is going DIGITAL, INTERACTIVE and TRANSACTIONAL.

imageSurge is the leader in the development of groundbreaking interactive storefront technologies and kiosk applications for real estate, retail, financial services, and other verticals. Our solutions deliver unprecedented capabilities that redefine how global brands reach, engage, understand, and convert their audience.

THROUGH-WINDOW TOUCH INTERACTIVITY

There are two general categories of storefront windows: Plain Single-Pane or Energy Efficient (“Low-E”) Double-Pane. Until several years ago there was no “through-window” touch-interactive solution possible for “Low-E” windows, which are used in the majority of new construction today.

imageSurge’s patent-pending IRLE Sensor technology is the only solution currently available for Low-E windows.

For plain (uncoated) glass windows there are alternative solutions available based on older “Touch Film” technology. While Touch Film has been around for nearly 20 years, it has failed to get industry traction due to its performance limitations as construction started to shift to energy efficient windows.
